  • Aircraft Modification Analysis

    AMI is experienced in modification analyses of aircraft geometries. Depending on fidelity requirements, AMI can produce 3D models of aircraft outer mold lines (OML) using a variety of sources. AMI provides turn-key 3D model development using laser-scan and other metrology techniques. This includes development of smoothed aerodynamic lofts from noisy laser scan data.

Who We Are

Analytical Methods is a technology center of excellence providing engineering, software and product development in aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, analytical tools, propulsion, aero elasticity and autonomous systems. Current projects include modifications to aircraft; commercial, defense related, fixed wing and rotorcraft. We also perform full fixed wing aircraft outer mold line designs and full unmanned aircraft development.
